After being saved, I found the need to know God's word - was a thirst that was hard to quench. After hearing teachings / sermons, I had the desire to be able to search the things I had listened to -- or be able to share certain parts of messages with friends and family. I started building this project as a way to index sermons. Eventually, I realized that no one had done full text search on sermons -- and I felt led to continue to create a platform that would index the Word of God throughout the internet.
While being able to access global sermons is nice, I felt that a huge need in the Body of Christ today is in having pastors and elders that you could talk with directly. The end goal of the indexing of all of these sermons, is that you will be able to do a local search for all of the local messages / sermons in your community to find out which speaker you want to speak with.
